Deliberately ephemeral, the project left no visual documentation. Experiencing the work was possible only by visiting the exhibition space.

You’re Not Enough
2020-2021
Casa da Cultura de Estarreja
Through a series of contemplative fragments, the video juxtaposes the natural beauty of these landscapes with the industrial presence of the so-called "wind turbine parks." This contrast invites viewers to reflect on the complexities of progress, questioning the balance between ecological preservation and the sacrifices demanded by sustainable energy solutions.

Red Velvet
2020
Serra da Freita, Aveiro, Portugal
Through this series, I sought to reimagine the familiar by amplifying its visual language. The hyper-saturated colors create an artificial and almost hostile environment, a deliberate choice to provoke discomfort and unease. These exaggerated tones reflect my response to the tension between the natural world and human intrusion—what happens when we extract, exploit, and commodify nature.
Red Velvet is not just a reflection of place but an exploration of how we shape and distort it through our perspectives and actions. It’s a visual fiction rooted in the real, inviting the viewer to confront the consequences of our estrangement from the environments we claim to inhabit.

Volta às Origens by Roberto Otero Gomez
February - April 2020
Estação Viva Gallery, Portugal
In Volta às Origens, Otero Gomez examines the far-reaching consequences of prolonged involvement in repressive regimes, shedding light on how these enduring oppressive ideals continue to shape contemporary cultural identities. Through this work, he invites viewers to confront the lingering shadows of history and reflect on their impact on our shared narratives.
